where there is work, is anyone hiring? I need a job very bad and i'll do pretty much anything to get one or have one. I can work in Ripon, Modesto, or Salida. I really need the money and if anyone need's help I can help, just let me know please. How DUMB can you be? PLEASE remove your telephone number for your own safety. EVERY pervert and predator around the world can see it. As far as working you will need a work permit before you can work anywhere which you can obtain from your school Guidance Councilor. California has the second highest unemployment rate in the country. Finding any kind of job will be very dificult, especially since you're young and don't have a lot of work experience.

its spelled schedule. and if your not sure then you should probably call them and tell them you are unfamiliar w/the site. Did they give you personal info to enter on the site to access it.BC you will need that info to browse your personal info.Just call the front desk and someone there will help you.

just go to the store you worked in and tell them you need your w2 form.they have to give it to you by law.be sure to give the right adress to send it to.if you cant go to the store you worked at cause you moved away,then go to any walmart store and tell the the same thing but tell them the weeks or mounths you worked and the store number and your employee number also take plenty of identification to varafy who you are,they will send the information to the main accounting office and they will mail a w2 for to you

I do not know anyone in Modesto but you should interview them as to their experience with this issue before you begin. Very few have done these type of returns nor are they willing to take the time to learn the rules on their dime.

Most stores you have to be 16 or 18 to work at. The only places a 14 year old could probably get a job is at a fast food place.

You have to be 16 to get a real job, like in the McDonalds there by Naraghi lakes. At your age, depending on if you are a boy or a girl, some possibilities are Baby sitting "Mom's helper" - do dishes, wash clothes, vacuum while the mother is in the house doing fun stuff or takes her kids to the park Yard work Taking care of pets, yards, mail, newspepers etc. for families who go away on vacation Tutoring elementary school children in reading and math, if you are good at either one.

As a general rule, the closer you get to the SF Bay area, the more expensive the houses and the nicer the restaurants, shopping, etc. Merced is getting the new UC Merced, but it will take a couple of years for the ethnic restaurants, used book stores and string quartet recitals that make a college town a cultural oasis to get there. Crime rates depend more on neighborhoods than on towns. Schools depend on the schools; the same district may have a stellar one and a marginal one. I'd say Merced, if you are in it for the long haul. In 10 years it will be nicer, due to the University. New 3BR 2Bath homes start around $300,000 in Modesto at the moment. I don't know what they are in Merced.

Modesto is closer to Sacramento than San Francisco but you should go to their website and ask that question because it is so far away.

With the current area unemployment rate, don't plan on getting hired unless you are at least 18 or probably don't plan on being hired at all.
