where there is work, is anyone hiring? I need a job very bad and i'll do pretty much anything to get one or have one. I can work in Ripon, Modesto, or Salida. How DUMB can you be? PLEASE remove your telephone number for your own safety. EVERY pervert and predator around the world can see it. As far as working you will need a work permit before you can work anywhere which you can obtain from your school Guidance Councilor. California has the second highest unemployment rate in the country. Finding any kind of job will be very dificult, especially since you're young and don't have a lot of work experience.
